The Foundation For Deaf Education is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization.

It was founded in 1997 and its mission is to improve the quality of life for the students of St. Mary's School for the Deaf by funding activities and programs that are not covered by legislative appropriation, and to support and promote Deaf Awareness and Deaf Culture across the community at large and all of Western New York.
