Give716 on July 16th, 2026
On Wednesday, July 15 at 7:16 p.m., Give716 officially begins.
As many of you know, Give716 has become one of Western New York's most visible and competitive charitable campaigns, bringing together hundreds of nonprofits, corporate sponsors, matching funds, bonus grants, donor incentives, and significant community attention over a 36-hour period.
For the Foundation for Deaf Education and St. Mary's School for the Deaf, this is much more than a fundraiser.
A strong Give716 showing helps elevate our visibility, expand awareness of our mission, and strengthen our position for future funding opportunities. The more momentum we generate, the greater our opportunity to benefit from matching funds, bonus grants, corporate partnerships, and other sources of support that can extend well beyond the 36-hour campaign.
Last year, our community helped raise more than $7,000 through Give716, earning the Foundation a #12 ranking among more than 700 participating nonprofits. This year, our goal is to surpass $8,000 and break into the Top 10, a milestone that would increase our visibility and strengthen our competitiveness for matching funds, grants, and future opportunities.
Whether through a donation, a social media share, or simply helping spread the word, every action helps us increase our visibility and strengthen our ability to compete for additional funding opportunities.
