Game Recap 2023

Our second game of the season was a well fought match up between two good teams. Samiah C was our captain today after earning the recognition from last week! 

The Bisons started strong, going up 2-0 early into the game thanks to Dylan L and Nicholas L. One of those goals was scored by a beautiful set play that we practiced - two good passes that led to an open shot on net for an easy goal. Tapestry fought back to make it 2-1, when the birthday boy Khyier R put SMSD up 3-1...

The game was a great display of what we worked on this week to improve from last week - for the first time in my coaching career, SMSD baby Bisons had a strong 2-0 start!!

Our first game of the season was no disappointment - with good leadership from our returning players, and excellent performances from our rookies, our baby Bisons took home the win today 8-2 against our rival Rochester School for the Deaf!!

I am immensely proud of our team for their communication skills, effort, and sportsmanship.

We are back to work tomorrow for practice to be ready for next week's game on Wednesday at home - GO BISONS!!
