The Recreation Therapist is responsible for coordinating and leading activities during the After School Program. He will arrange for field trips, both educational and recreational and try to find new and fun activities for the students.
Age appropriate play groups are organized and they involve things including crafts, various games, and physical activities. The Recreation Therapist instructs the students in the rules of conduct during these recreational activities.
The Recreation Therapist is also in charge of organizing night time activities for older students and residents of the school.
