About St. Mary's School For The Deaf
For 160 years St. Mary’s School for the Deaf has been the leader in deaf education in the eight counties of Western New York.
St. Mary’s expert staff evaluates and diagnoses complex disorders using each child’s method of communication. We develop unique academic programs and meet rigorous state requirements. We are able to individualize programming for students.
Our five day residential program also offers some students the opportunity to live on campus and receive additional academic, physical education and recreational activities.
Our effective program for students birth to age 21 has proven results. Our students graduate as self-directed, life-long learners who are productive members of society.
Our graduates became College Provosts, College Professors, School Administrators, Teachers, Priests, Deaf Olympians, work at the Pentagon, are award winning chefs or employee of the month in a sheltered workshop.
